#BLAUPUNKT NEW JERSEY 220 FULL#
I am looking for a subwoofer that produces deep and clean lows, at low input levels - to play full band of my music. (On my Balupunkt NJ 220BT max volume I play is 16 - beyond that doors turn into cymbal ) But I want full range coverage at low volumes. I absolutely don't need loud sub (Maruti will shake more than the sub cone if I do that). It's becoming hard for me to select based on these inputs. Whatever I listen on YouTube is funky crazy loud noise under reviews for Indian sub models. Primary reason for raising a new thread is, sadly, I'm unable to find any shops to demo anything. I do not know how much space you have under the seat and if this space can accommodate a larger 10" woofer vs a smaller 8" one but I would recommend sticking to the better-known brands like Blaupunkt, Infinity, JBL, and Morel or maybe even Rockford Fosgate, Kenwood, and Pioneer over less known brands. If this set up will not fit in the boot, then you can look into the under seat subwoofer, which generally come with an inbuilt amp. The punch this type of set up will give, is not achievable with an under seat subwoofer. You can get a removable plug installed in the boot, so that remove the subwoofer, when you need the space. The one that i have tagged below is quite small and you can check the dimensions before purchase. Since your HU has a sub pre out and controls, i would suggest you go with a shallow sub woofer and a basic 2 channel amp in bridged mode. I'm posting this question because there isn't enough data/reviews for subs available in India. Could you experts please suggest me good options? My budgets is ~10k. To me, quality is more important to quantity. Car is a already a compact room, smaller volume is also loud enough. My requirement is clean, deep, distortion-free bass. (I don't know if there is another option for me but I'm open to suggestions) Space is a big constraint! Hence I think my options are limited to under-seat or removable tube type sub. Plus, because the boot is non-existent, parcel tray can't be compromised. Now to complete the frequency band and to complement these speakers, I'm planning to add a sub.Īs my Wagon R burns CNG, the gas tank fills the boot. Hence they already go low enough, but with lack of better enclosure, can't perform deep down. The front speakers are 35-20000 Hz range.
#BLAUPUNKT NEW JERSEY 220 UPGRADE#
Now that I dropped plan to buy a new car, I want to upgrade my current car to satisfy my cravings for a new purchase. After a lot of calculations and discussions, I've decided to keep my Wagon R a little longer.
